What was the purpose of your boudoir session? Was it a gift for yourself? Your partner?

I always wanted to do a boudoir photoshoot but wasn’t in a great relationship and didn’t have the desire or confidence to do so. I left my ex-husband and moved to a new state to start a new life. New beginnings. I eventually found a new and amazing man who deserved a surprise present of me doing this shoot. He builds me up and gives me confidence and security when I lack it within myself.

How would rate your boudoir experience on a scale of 1-10?

It was amazing. It was a 100. Ashley is so fun to be around and I was so comfortable doing this shoot as I’ve never done anything like that before.

How has your boudoir experience affected you or changed you?

Once I saw the pictures it had me even more confident about how I look and can look. I was the girl who always had the same go-to poses for all pictures when out, and she showed me other poses that looked amazing in the pictures.

What advice would you give someone who was nervous about or hesitant to book their own boudoir experience with Ashley Jane Photography?

Find a photographer that you are totally comfortable with and vibe with. Someone who makes you feel at ease. I called and spoke on the phone with numerous boudoir photographers. Ashley was the last one I spoke to and just speaking with her on the phone I knew she was the one I wanted to shoot with.

What was your favorite part of your session?

The whole experience was just amazing. From beginning to end. I loved getting to see all the photos but getting the product and being able to give it to my man and see his face was priceless. Worth the investment for sure! But it was so fun taking the pictures and being a model for a few hours.
