Lady M's Orlando Boudoir Session

Lady M tells us why her boudoir experience with Ashley Jane Photography has captured her in a way she never thought possible.

What was the purpose of your boudoir session? Was it a gift for yourself? Your partner?

I booked the boudoir session with Ashley Jane Photography in Orlando, FL to regain my self-confidence and love for myself that I had lost for a while. It was a gift to myself to remind myself that I am beautiful and no one can take that away from me no matter what I am going through. This was my fresh start for my new chapter in my life.

How would you rate your boudoir experience on a scale of 1-10?

Can I rate this 1 million? I’ve never had so much fun! I am not photogenic whatsoever, and usually make ugly faces in photos, but Ashley played my favorite music and I was dancing around the studio enjoying every second.

How was your boudoir experience affected you or changed you?

This experience made me do a total 180 with my view on myself. I walk with a longer stride and chest held high. Ashley captured me in a way I never thought I could look like behind a camera, or even in person. I walked into the viewing worried that I may only like a few photos of myself. Then an hour later I was stressing on choosing 10 from 100. I have the stills on my phone and will pull them up at random times as a reminder of my beauty and how I cannot believe that I could ever look like that.

What advice would you give someone who was nervous about or hesitant to book their own boudoir experience with me?

I was super nervous because I never know what to do with my hands on a day to day basis or how to fix my RBF, but Ashely guided me the entire way through the session. She would position me to capture the best moment, and show me where she wanted my hands to go, remind me to separate my lips and while doing that would hype me up saying how perfect that shot was or gorgeous I looked. I would recommend a boudoir shoot with Ashley to ANYONE it is more than worth it!!!
