Lady J's experience with Ashley Jane Boudoir!

At Ashley Jane Boudoir in Sanford, FL, Lady J had an extraordinary photoshoot that eased her camera jitters, leaving her beaming with a sense of confidence and inner beauty.

What was your experience like from start to end?

I had never done anything like this and found myself nervous in front of a camera. I was so excited to overcome the nerves and show a side of me that made me feel beautiful. Ashley was such a warm presence. I immediately felt so comfortable and at ease in her beautiful studio. Her hair and makeup artist were kind and engaging, I looked and felt amazing. All of this set a tone that was perfect for a boudoir photoshoot. Ashley and the videographer Mandy were giving great direction and support. The outfit selection and curated scenes in the studio are stunning. It was amazing to have a shoot that was an all-in-one package.

What was the purpose of your session? Was it a gift for yourself? Your partner?

It was a wedding gift to my fiancé but also a gift for myself. I wanted to be more comfortable in front of a camera, especially with our wedding coming up. My fiancé loved the photos and we are picking a few to frame.

How did you feel during your photoshoot?

I felt foxy! It was such a confidence boost. The lighting in the studio from the huge natural windows was idyllic and added to the charm. Ashley’s direction was so helpful. She knew all the right poses and how to strike them. The studio is inviting. It was fun the whole time!

What was your favorite part of your session?

I would say sitting in the chair in my big green fur coat. I love that coat and it makes me feel bougie. I also loved the bathtub and the greenery around it.

How has your boudoir experience affected you or changed you?

I have a hard time taking photos of myself so having this boudoir shoot made me feel beautiful and that I don’t need to be so nervous in front of a camera. I think it helped me overcome my camera anxiety. I look forward to looking back on these photos when I am 60 and then booking another boudoir appointment with Ashley!

How would you rate your boudoir experience on a scale of 1-10?

Absolutely 100.

What advice would you give someone who was nervous about or hesitant to book their own boudoir experience with me?

When you book with Ashley all you have to do is show up. Ashley, her studio, and her team make it easy to feel comfortable and beautiful in front of a camera. Looking back I would have regretted not booking this session because I got so much out of it!

Is there anything at all you would change about your boudoir experience?

I think next time I will have twice as many lingerie pieces, especially after seeing these photos. It made me want to buy more!
