Lady A’s Bombshell Orlando Boudoir Session

Lady A tells us all the reasons why she chose to have a boudoir session with Orlando boudoir photographer Ashley Jane. And the reasons why she wishes she could do it again and again!

Why did you choose to book a boudoir session?

I booked my Orlando boudoir session with Ashley Jane Photography for two reasons. I wanted to do it as an anniversary gift for my husband. But, I also wanted to do it for myself. Having lost a lot of confidence in myself over the years with being a mom, wife, and dealing with serious health issues. I wanted to have beautiful documentation of myself before my disorder transformed my body.

How has the boudoir session affected you?

During the session, I started to regain all of that and feel like myself again. Not just a mom covered in boogers or last night’s dinner. Not a sick person with an incurable disease, or a wife with pent-up frustration. I was able to put all those feelings aside for that moment, and just be me. It was empowering. The boudoir session itself was enough for me to feel whole again. However, when I saw the final photos, I was blown away! I never felt more beautiful in the body that I have right now. I have held onto that confidence ever since my boudoir session. If I ever need a self-esteem boost I just pull out my beautiful photo album.

What was your favorite part of your Orlando Boudoir Session?

My favorite part of my boudoir session was how during the shoot I began to just feel free. Free to be me and feel beautiful doing it. Ashley shared an image from the back of her camera and I was shocked! I felt beautiful while I was doing the photo shoot, but to see how it looked from the camera lens was breathtaking. I cried….a lot! I will forever be grateful to Ashley for my boudoir session because it was so much more than a photography session. It was therapy for me.

What advice would you give someone considering a boudoir session?

I know it can be nerve-wracking to open yourself up to being so exposed in front of other people and a camera. But trust me, you will thank yourself every day for taking the leap and just doing it! Ashley is so phenomenal at what she does. She will squash all of your fears and anxieties about the session within the first 15 minutes. She coaches you as little or as much as you need and she makes you feel extremely comfortable in your own skin.

It was so amazing how a small angle adjustment could bring out the perfect feature and lay waste to any self-doubt you may have had. Ashley will show you your true beauty and present it in such an amazing and gorgeous way. It will bring you to tears! Do yourself a favor and just take the leap! You will not regret it and it will be a memorable and cherished experience!
