Lady A’s experience with Ashley Jane Boudoir!

This boudoir session in Sanford, Florida, helped Lady A move past self-doubt and finally stop waiting for the “perfect time.” What started with nerves quickly turned into an empowering experience filled with confidence, strength, and a whole new way of seeing herself. At Ashley Jane Boudoir, she discovered that feeling beautiful isn’t about changing your body—it’s about embracing it exactly as you are.

What was your experience like from start to end?

Incredible! I definitely came in a little nervous, but once I got moving it became easier and easier to have fun and enjoy myself. Ashley was amazing at making me feel at ease and guiding me through the whole process. It was just so fun!

What was the purpose of your session? Was it a gift for yourself? Your partner?

When the thought first popped into my head to do a boudoir photoshoot, I thought it would be a fun gift for my husband. By the time the day of my shoot arrived, I’d decided this was going to be more for me than anyone!

How did you feel during your photoshoot?

Nervous at first, but amazing as the shoot went on! And I just felt straight-up sexy as hell by the end of it.

What was your favorite part of your session?

Seriously everything! Getting my hair and makeup done, talking with Ashley about outfits and poses, her beautiful studio, and the music. It was all amazing.

How has your boudoir experience affected you or changed you?

It has absolutely given me more confidence about my body and about myself, in general. I went in with a body that I had once felt a lot of shame about. I fought myself about this not being the best time to do this shoot. I should wait until my body was in better shape, or wait until my hair was longer, blah, blah, blah. But I am so glad I did the damn thing anyway. I realized that feeling sexy is not about being at your goal weight, or having flawless skin, or perfect hair. It’s me being able to look in the mirror and see a strong and amazing woman who can do hard things. When I look back at my photos now, that’s exactly what I see.

How would you rate your boudoir experience on a scale of 1-10?

10+!!!

What advice would you give someone who was nervous about or hesitant to book their own boudoir experience with me?

Just do it anyway! I was so nervous, but I do not regret a thing, except maybe wishing I’d done it sooner! I promise you will not regret it.

Is there anything at all you would change about your boudoir experience?

Nothing! I just can’t wait until I can do another one!
