I did a pregnancy boudoir shoot with Ashley and could not be happier with the photos. My husband originally suggested the idea and I have to admit, I was a bit hesitant at first. I didn’t fully understand boudoir and as someone who has one pose in front of a camera (a full, toothy smile), sexy poses are not exactly in my repertoire. I figured boudoir was too far out of my element. However, after working with Ashley in the past for engagement photos, I knew I couldn’t pass up another opportunity to work with her. Ashley has a way of forming a close trust with her clients right off the bat and the second I walked into her studio I was reminded of that. It immediately made me more comfortable and willing to step outside of my comfort zone. I originally did the boudoir shoot for my husband, but quickly recognized that what I got was an experience for myself. Ashley helped me see boudoir as a celebration of women’s bodies. Whether you want to be sexy, sweet, fun, (or 8 months pregnant!)...It’s all boudoir. It’s not just about looking sexy for the camera- the poses, the outfits, the props, it’s all part of it. But more than looking sexy it’s about FEELING sexy and beautiful and powerful in your body...And if you don’t already feel that way, Ashley will help get you there! If you’re like me, you might not walk in feeling all that sexy. Instead, you might feel nervous, hesitant, or insecure. But those feelings are exactly why I didn’t go to just anybody for these photos. It’s not the lace outfits or bare skin that made me feel sexy and confident, it was Ashley. Her work is so much more than just photography. When I look back at my boudoir photos I don’t just see my body, I see confidence, empowerment, and pride. She managed to capture not only the images but the feelings behind them. I cannot wait to display these photos as a daily reminder that I am all of those things. Plus, seeing your body from someone else’s point of view is really powerful aPnd can help you see beauty in yourself you may not have noticed before. I highly recommend a boudoir shoot with Ashley! I know I will definitely be coming back for more. :)

I'm not sure that I can put how Ashley's work helped me move into the next phase of my life, and I am going to try. :-) As a recently divorced woman who had been married for 32 years, I had no idea how I was going to 'start over' or 'begin again.' With Ashley's amazing guidance and special care, I was able to blossom into something new. My sensuality and sexuality was captured in such a reverent way that I feel alive and ready to move into this next phase of my life. I was referred to Ashley Jane from the company that was doing my hair and makeup for my upcoming wedding. I had to jump at this opportunity. I always thought what a great gift it would be for my man and a fun experience for me. When I first talked with Ashley she gave me some suggestions on some clothes or props I could bring for the photoshoot and that she also had lots of items to choose from as well. I showed up on the morning of the photoshoot both excited and a little nervous. Ashley welcomed me into her studio and at first, we sat and talked about a little of what I was looking for in pictures, and if they were any areas of my body I wasn't completely happy with so that she would know how to guide me during the photoshoot. After getting my hair and makeup completed the nervousness went away and I was excited to get the session going. Ashley was amazing at guiding me into different poses. We were on the floor, in a window, in a tub, on the bed, we were all over the room in different lingerie, my fiancé's shirt, and different jewelry. I actually felt like a model!! When it came time to go through the pictures and decide which ones I wanted to use in my private little book I was going to give to my fiance, it was so hard to choose. Ashley did an amazing job. 4 years later I had to do another boudoir photoshoot. This one was for me! I just loved the way I felt that day, the pampering, feeling and looking like a model and taking away some beautiful pictures that I could hang around my home. I honestly feel every woman needs to do a boudoir shoot at least once in their life. It makes you feel like you are the most beautiful, sexy woman in the world. I know I'll be going back for the 3rd one with Ashley. Ashley is an amazing photographer and an amazing woman. Xoxo
